ROOSTER SCRAMBLE ANNUAL GOLF OUTING

We had an absolute blast on Sunday July 31st, at Bunker Hill Golf Course in Medina. Why, you could say that it was a smashing success. Thanks to everyone who came out to golf, our sponsors, our volunteers, and to the folks out at Bunker Hill. It was a great day!

This year's MVP for the second year running… Steve Kamber. (and the Kamber crew from Kentucky)

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Alex and Alyssa Baker Memorial Scholarship Fund. Brigid’s Cross thanks everyone who has helped to support the Alex and Alyssa Baker Memorial Scholarship in the past, by playing in, or supporting The Rooster Scramble.

The Rooster Open is an annual event that the supports the Alex and Alyssa Baker Memorial Scholarship Fund. The funds raised by this event traditionally awards two college freshman scholarships, annually. The goal for this foundation is to keep the memory and legacy of Alex and Alyssa Baker going strong through the education and growth of other young men and women. Alex and Alyssa were tragically killed in a car accident in August of 2000. Since then, approximately $32K has been awarded in scholarships, originally hosted and maintained by the Milwaukee Irish Fest, our scholarship is now maintained by Dooley's Rainbow Fund, a 5013C charity established by The Hooley House. Past scholarship recipients have gone on to strong universities such as THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY… O – H… I – O!!! (sorry, not sorry) The University of Notre Dame, (Go… Irish!) University of Akron, John Carroll University, University of Tennessee, etc. Here's to our past winners!

We appreciate everyone who donated by purchasing raffle tickets, sponsoring holes, volunteering their time for the outing,
and all of our golfers.
